Who builds News Appite: APPITE's web, app and SEO services

An announcement from the studio behind this site: what APPITE builds — websites, apps, design and SEO — and why a software studio runs a news site with 507 free tools.

Disclosure: this is an announcement about APPITE, the studio that publishes News Appite. It is not a news report, and the newsroom had no part in writing it. Our editorial policy requires this label on anything of ours we publish here.

Readers occasionally ask who runs News Appite, and whether the 507 free tools on the site are a business or a hobby. Both questions have the same answer: APPITE, a web, app and SEO studio in Greater Noida. The news desk and the tools are built by the same people, and the studio takes on client work.

This post sets out what that work is, so anyone who has found the site useful and needs something built knows what is on offer.

Web development

Websites and web applications: marketing sites, company sites, portals, internal systems and SaaS products. Built on current frameworks rather than a page builder, which matters when you later want something the builder cannot do.

Speed is treated as a requirement, not a tuning exercise at the end. The tool pages on this site load the way they do because that decision was made at the start, and the same approach goes into client projects. Starting around ₹50,000, depending on scope.

App development

Cross-platform Android and iOS apps from a single codebase, which for most business apps produces the same result as two native apps at a significantly lower cost. Where it genuinely matters — heavy graphics, deep hardware access — there is native development in Swift and Kotlin as a separate service.

An app is rarely just an app: accounts, an admin panel, an API and somewhere to host it usually come with it, and those are quoted as visible line items rather than hidden in a single number.

Web design

UI and UX design, done phone-first because that is where your visitors are. The work covers the parts that decide whether a visitor acts: what the first screen says, where the one important button is, how fast it appears, and whether a stranger can tell within seconds that you are real and reachable.

SEO and digital marketing

Technical SEO, content and local search. The honest version: for most businesses this takes three to six months to produce enquiries, and anybody promising page one in thirty days is either redefining page one or doing something your domain will pay for later.

Local search is the faster win — a properly claimed and completed Google Business Profile can produce calls within weeks, and it costs nothing.

How the studio works

  • Fixed-price quotes against a written scope, with dates attached.
  • You own everything. The domain in your name, the source code, and every account and login handed over at the end. This is written into the quote rather than discussed once the project is finished.
  • A senior team, rather than a sales layer in front of a junior pool.

Why a studio publishes a news site

Fair question, and there are two answers.

The tools came first. They were built because we kept needing them — compressing a photo to exactly 20 KB for a form, pulling text out of a scan — and the existing options wanted an upload, an email address and a watermark. Once ours existed there was no reason to keep them private.

The second answer is that a tool you can use in thirty seconds is a better argument than a case study. Every converter here runs inside your browser: your file is processed on your own device and never uploaded, which is why bank statements and ID documents are safe to put through them. Building it that way is harder. It is also the point.

The news site carries advertising, and the tools bring readers to it. That is the whole business model, and it is why the tools are free and will stay free.

Where to look next

If you have something in mind, tell APPITE what you are building. If you only came for a free PDF converter, that is genuinely fine too.

A note on independence

APPITE publishes News Appite and pays for it. That does not buy coverage: the newsroom does not report on the studio's clients, and advertising never decides what is written. Every post of this kind carries the label at the top of this page. If a story ever reads otherwise, tell the desk.
